so i was working on this descent mid 90's Gary Fisher the other day and Stephen pointed out this small sticker. it was just below the front deraileur on the very bottom of the seat tube.if you cant read it from this picture it says "Man's Best Friend". implying a bike is man's best friend. Gary Fisher is one of the Founders of Mountain biking. he started comming down hills on old beat up beach cruisers, burning up the coaster brakes on the way down. To see this little sticker he probably had put on a lot of his earlier mountain bikes from the factory is just a cool little attention to detail.
Cant Say i Disagree, my bike is definately my best friend and im sure many of you can say the same.

That is a familiar phrase from many of Fisher's bikes. I was in my local shop this week, taking a closer look at the new 2010 Cronus (full carbon) road bike. It was on that frame as well, but the graphic is now a face with glasses instead of crazy hair. It wasn't a sticker anymore, it was actually part of the painted on graphics!
